A Tom Petty Tribute Band Will Take the Stage at the Mizner Park Amphitheater on July 21

Boca Raton's Mizner Park Amphitheater is hosting a "Summer in the City" series, a mix of concerts by local tribute bands and outdoor screenings of popular current movies. Since the summer is well underway, you may have already missed a few of the shows. Don't lose out on your next opportunity to enjoy the free series on Friday, July 21st when Petty Hearts, a Tom Petty tribute band, takes the stage.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m., and you can bring your own lawn chairs or blanket, or rent a chair for $5 inside the amphitheater. No need to pack a picnic dinner because there will be food and drink (including adult beverages) available for purchase. Come to the park on July 28th for a screening of Disney's Moana, starting at 8 p.m. after a Polynesian dance performance at 7:30. The rest of the summer's lineup includes a Bob Marley tribute band, a Fleetwood Mac tribute band, The Symphonia Boca Raton playing A Space Odyssey, featuring melodies from Star Wars, Star Trek, and other galactic flicks.
